Sandra Rosario

Health Research Manager

Sandra Rosario joined Health Matters as the Health Research Manager after working as a health researcher at the Centers for Disease Control for five years. She has 20 years of experience in the health research field.  Sandra also has a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics & Health Information Management from the University of Washington and a Master of Health Care Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Chad Jones

Senior Health Researcher

Chad Jones is a health and fitness researcher and has more than 20 years of experience working with underserved, at-risk, inner-city children.  Chad has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of West Alabama and a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on at-risk children. Chad desires for all children to find a physical fitness activity they enjoy that will keep them active and healthy for a lifetime.

Collin Lyon

Junior Health Researcher

Collin graduated from Arizona State University with a master's in physics. He was given the Teacher of the Year Award in 2010. Collin has also been nominated for two different Nobel Prizes for his pioneering work in physics research. Collin currently does health research for Health Matters.  He specializes in healthy learning for children.

Julie Phan

Junior Health Researcher

Julie Phan is finishing her Bachelor of Science in Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a minor in art. Julie has spent three years researching the benefits of art for education and health. During the last two years, she has worked with local elementary schools to help establish art programs that provide emotional support and self-expression. Julie has interned at inner-city schools and held art camps to gather data for her own ongoing research.
